Local Stranger Portraits
Special Thanks to Jenin & Drake from Carter's Chocolates and to Barbara from Grinderfest
Favorite Stranger Portrait
This one is my favorite stranger portrait for two main reasons...
Barbara was genuinely supportive and equally excited to be a part of my photograpghy assignment. At one point, she even said it was an honor. It shocked me to hear her say that since I was thinking the same thing towards her for taking time out of her day to pose for me.
The other reason this is my favorite stranger portrait is because I finally felt "in" my comfort zone instead of feeling so completely "out" of my comfort zone.
(Many thanks to Barbara for making this an amazing experience!)

Least Effective Stranger Portrait
This one is my least effective stranger portrait for only one main reason...
Even though Drake has striking blue eyes, I wasn't able to capture the essence of his spirit through them. Many editing attempts were made in iPiccy to soften and smooth his complexion but I was not successful. I also feel that I could have changed my camera settings to compliment the lighting or maybe changed the setting altogether and gone with natural lighting altogether. In any case, this is my least effective stranger portrait due to me still learning the ropes of digital photography and definitely not because of Drake and his striking blue eyes.
